He’s another absolutely terrible character. Horribly casted. Horrible acted. I’m sure a lot has happened it wise since I left off, but him, Rip, and Beth all just tumbling over the cliff as a 3 some would be been just fine with me.
Catch-22.

You don't like the character, as the protagonist. But, that's the job of the character, for viewers not to like the protagonist. While you don't like him, he's doing his job. 🤷‍♂️

Not really... At least that's not the way I see it. I actually rooted for him over Beth... and I get he was the adopted, Ivy League type kid that wasn't supposed to fit in with the others... I was ok with all that. He just always had this stupid confused look on his face, like the actor version of Juwan Howard. The actor (don't know his name) just didn't seem to fit the role... and every scene with him felt like I was watching some middle school drama play.

I'm with you on this. He got the job/gig because of where he went to school. His first name is Wes...last name is a car brand: I can't pull it. I want to say Buick but that isn't right...have to look it up.

I've seen maybe a half of a dozen posts on X with clips from last week; the scene at the windmill with the 'monologue' from BBT. The one written this week for the corporate lawyer is just as well 'constructed;' very well written.
