ICYMI, Bama has a good NCAAW team. Ahead of 5 ranked teams in the SEC Standings. Won at #14 MSU last night 86-78 after being down 33-44 at the half. They are 11-1 (4-1). Loss was to UofSC.

Not even the local talking heads are mentioning the great job Coach Curry is doing. Going to State and winning? Yeah!

Even an all-sports loving bammer like me draws the line at women's basketball... I just can't watch it. BUT, I still want them to do well and follow them from afar, as I do all fringe UA sports. I'm glad she's turning it around. From what I understand, as far as X's and O's, Curry is really good. She just doesn't recruit very well for whatever reason. But I hope all UA sports compete at the highest level, and I'm pleased she has them doing that right now.

I suppose it has been a loooong time since Mississippi State was outscored by 19 points in a half. Even on the road. Including this season they have lost but 19 games in the last five seasons. Six of them to South Carolina.

I really hope the ladies program can get back to where it was in the early 90's. I have to admit, I do not follow them as closely as I need to.
