Interesting.....Gary Danielson picked Florida / LSU in the national chamionship game.....His thought process is that Bama will win the west and beat LSU...( GIVING THEM THEIR ONLY LOSS ) and that Florida will win the SEC Championship by beating Bama.....:headscratch: Thus leaving LSU and Florida #1 and #2.....

He certainly does have a point about their horrible, awful, terrible, cupcake schedule.....therefore, if they go undefeated and win their bowl game they should finish ranked somewhere between #23-#27.

He never meintioned them specifically....other than implying the SEC was the best conference and that in the end...were going to be at the top of the polls. Here is a link to what Danielson had to say....readdown a short ways and it quotes him.

CBS released some excerpts from the hour-long show, including this from Danielson, the former NFL quarterback: "I am picking Florida-LSU in the (national) championship. Four teams from the SEC are in the top 10. I see Florida losing at LSU in that night game. LSU losing to Alabama. Florida will beat Alabama. No one goes undefeated. Two left standing, LSU and Florida play for the (national) championship."

Eh, if we make it to Atlanta again this year, we are going to beat florida.

Just saying, we will be better than last year at the end of the year. Unless theyve improved, I dont think they can manage a fourth quarter come back this time.

So I think the teams in our division, as well as Florida, should hope the beast gets slain early.

Call me skeptical, but I just don't see it happening.

This isn't one of those thoughts based on the oft read "everyone hates SEC football." But, one based on the voters not wanting to see two SEC teams playing for the title.

If given the choice, I feel the TV networks won't be wanting to see a SEC final as well. While I can't base it on fact, logic tells me the ratings wouldn't be as strong for that type of game vs another conference joining an SEC team.

Florida has a good chance to make it through their season undefeated...as does either TX or OU, and USC. Logic tells me none will, but I never saw Bama making it through our SEC schedule last year undefeated either.
