Yeah, I came around a couple days before. I still think Georgia can beat us without us necessarily doing anything wrong. We will have to play our B+ and better game to win I will say. I say B+ because I think we can not play well in an area of the game, but we'll have to play well in most areas.

I don’t know if I buy the Georgia held back because they did not need to win the game argument. It’s true, they were going to make the playoffs regardless but look at what it did to their psyche, would you hold back and take that beat down just to not show all of your cards?

I can't stand Kirby, but even I don't believe he's got that mentality of losing a game and prepping for the next one. They weren't guaranteed a spot if they lost no matter what anyone says, so I highly doubt you chance it. They were still working on scoring late in the game and would have pulled Bowers if they were in fact taking it easy. UGA has to be pissed. No way they held back. If they win in the SECCG we are out of the play off picture. No way we make it in over ND or possibly OSU. If UGA wins the SECCG, they skate through the play off. We are the only team in the top 10 that can compete/beat them.

Maybe by 3 plays he was talking about the second quarter TD UGA had where Bama had one holding and 2 PI calls on them for 40 total yards help. There were only 3 plays that counted on that drive and UGA faced nothing other than first downs.

We gave up 400+ yards so I do not think we completely shut them down. We did shut down the run but not their offense as a whole. Turnovers helped for sure. I do agree with the last part that they had no answer for BY. However in the 2nd half after Metchie went down he was slowed down except for the long pass play to Jameson in the first drive of the 2nd half.

Bennett threw 346 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs.
Young threw 421 yards with 3 TDs.

Both QBs had similar attempts/completions.
Both team had similar run game productions.

Without Bowers, It would've been a struggle to get up the field.

In 2nd half, we weren't prepared for Metchie to go out, and it took BOB/Young a w hile to adjust. This time, I think we will have a better game plan.. and we will spread the ball around. I expect us to throw to RBs more. Let Robinson/Sander eat.
