Hell Clemson has a damn slide, which is about goofy. But hey, I think there was a recruit that said he liked Clemson over Georgia simply due to the slide. How pathetic is that? Below are a few pictures of what Clemson has added. Smooth play on the barber shop, as we know that's sure to peak the interests of a good bit of recruits. It'll never stop as recruiting is as cut throat as it gets for most schools. Each school will continue to unload funds on the newest idea.
DJ booths, $10k lockers, fancy barber shops, waterfalls, etc. Like it or not, this stuff helps recruit players.
At one point I liked my job because I could wear shorts everyday. Hell, in our San Diego office we have offer hair cuts in an airstream via https://sterlingsmobile.com/sd. Google provides free lunches.
I don't fault Kirby for trying to use this as a tool for reaching out to players. Lots of companies do this.
I see nothing wrong with it... They're not designing locker rooms for old white dudes on an internet forum. Designing it for 18-22 yr old kids that like rap music. Makes sense to me
Kirby has been saying the right things and has been pretty good with his coach-speak. He talks about the internal pressure and that's what he feels most of all, his expectations. Well, that's not going to fly this season. Georgia is being picked to win the East and his talent alone says he should get it done. That burden of expectation will present plenty of external expectations and constant mainstream pressure for Kirby in year two.
