ESPN now trying to talk this move into a bad light. "Sark doesn't have the relationship with the players that Kiffin does, blah, blah, blah." Corso about the only one saying Saban doesn't make many mistakes and doubt this is one.
Its def. a distraction and now the offense has to get used to a completely different play caller and get used to a new OC in general. Like G-Mac just said on ESPN, you got a freshman who has only had one voice talking to him (in terms of a play caller) and now someone completely different 7 days before the biggest game of his life. I dont second guess Saban much but I am fourth and fifth guessing this. I think the only answer is that Saban just truly thought there was no other way and that Kiffin had his mind elsewhere.
It will impact Clemson more than Alabama. Sark has been a part of the offensive planning and evaluation for most of the season. He isn't a stranger to Hurts.
What can Clemson anticipate from a coach he hasn't shown any tendencies with Alabama's offense? They can't look at USC tape to get tendencies.
