The article perpetuates the myth that we use defense and a grunt and punt offense to win is still out there. Anyone who bothers to go back and look will see that with Applewhite/PENDRY, McIlwain, Nussmeier Kiffin's predecessors, we have always had a balance between passing and running, with the yardage nearly being equal. Kiffin has given us some new ways to get explosive plays, which emphasizes getting the ball to our playmakers, but we can still pound away with the ground game.

The flash and dash is fine with me as long as CLK continues to be aggressive with his play calls. The Bama offense is a different offense than what we had with our previous OC's. As one of his former bosses was so famous for saying, "just win baby!"
