I have noticed that most of Cade Foster's kickoffs fall around the 15 yard line. I s this by design? He certainly has the ability to kick it through the endzone for a touch back and that was what made him so attractive as a recruit. It seems the opposition winds up with the ball a lot on the 35 yard line.

He isn't a bad choice to run down and make a tackle IMO. I would rather have a burner back as a safety that can hawk a guy down than have a 230lb kicker standing there and flagging as he goes by.

CS did say that CF kicks it into the end zone in practice so it might be some mental thing.:headscratch: The kicking game is the weakest area of our team in my opinion.

I'm under the impression they are using the short kicks to make sure nobody stretches out the coverage team and they can wall up all returns. Though, if he can kick it into the endzone..there's no need for a coverage team to worry about someone breaking it. I'm equally worried that in a close game. Say against LSU. 15 extra yards is going to be a big difference in every kickoff

Their kick coverage ranks lower than ours and we lead the conference in returns...
