This was posted late last night from the Bama Quad Squad:
Folks tonight is not about football. Got a report that former Alabama RB Kevin Turner has been admitted to UAB Hospital and is being set up with a Trach and possibly a feeding tube and the family is requesting no visitors. As most of you know KT has had a long battle with ALS (Lou Gherig's disease) so we request prayers for him and for his family tonight and in the days ahead.

Please lift Kevin, his family and friends up in prayer. God Bless KT.

When I saw his name in the Thread , that was what I thought. He been fighting that battle for a long time. My prayers will be going out for him and his family.

I will always remember KT as the bruising FB that I had the privilege of saying I was a teammate with at BAMA. My thoughts and prayers are with KT and his family.

Yeah, I had heard things were starting to not look so good, as was inevitable, I suppose. He was one of my favorites from my time at the Capstone.
