That's cute and all... But run for 3 straight first downs and I bet whatever pass play he wants to call will work just fine. None of our opponents believe we are committed to running the ball. They're right.

I think Kiffin is calling it this way to develop Hurts on the fly. If not-too many weapons under utilized. We got to be able to have that down field threat.

He's definitely late. Play calling is not advantageous for a freshman QB though. It's backwards

Our high school football game last night, I was in the stands next to one of the coaches dad. He's been in coaching for 40+ years, just retired.

First place he coached, Channelview in Houston...which is where Jalen played and his dad is the HC.
