It looks like the strength of the KS team is at the line of scrimmage. They have two experienced receivers coming back and an average QB who threw more interceptions than TDs. The weakest part of KS looks to be at the LB position. They have a new head coach from Ohio State so I expect that KS will play with a similar style as OSU but with far, far less talent.

"The Kent State Golden Flashes finished with a disappointing 5-7 overall record and 4-4 mark in the MAC, but actually played better than their record indicates. The Golden Flashes decided that it was time to part ways with head coach Doug Martin, as he failed to deliver a winning season in seven tries. They went out and added Ohio State assistant Darrell Hazell to try and get things turned around.

Hazell will have 14 starters to work with, including nine starters on the offensive side of the ball. Here is closer look at what the Golden Flashes will return on both sides of the ball, plus my thoughts on where they will finish in the MAC standings."

One of the Kent State running backs, Jacquise Terry, is from Phenix City, AL and helped out with Habitat for Humanity this summer in Tuscaloosa. He was interviewed here about his time in Tuscaloosa and about the game on Sept. 3.
