Eddie Lacy could very well be the third consecutive Alabama running back to be selected in the NFL Draft's first round. If he collects enough votes from fans, he could also become the third Alabama running back to be used on the cover of EA Sports' annual college football video game.
Lacy is among a group of four former players up for consideration. Fan voting has gotten him to this point and fan voting is what will determine whether or not he follows in the footsteps of Shaun Alexander (2001) and Mark Ingram (2011).
Also in the running are former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson, Texas A&M wide receiver Ryan Swope and Oregon running back Kenjon Barner. Lacy collected the most votes among the four in the quarterfinals, as Tyler Eifert (Notre Dame), E.J. Manuel (Florida State), John Simon (Ohio State) and Jarvis Jones (Georgia) were eliminated.
Fans can cast their votes by checking out the game's Facebook page. The game, NCAA Football '14, will be released some time during the summer.

Lacy is currently in 2nd, barely above Swope, but is WAY behind Robinson. The difference is almost laughable. But hopefully Lacy runs away with the win .. I don't see how Robinson has proven to be deserving of a game cover, frankly. Lacy won 2 freakin' championships, earning MVP twice (in 2012 SEC Championship game, and 2013 BCS offensive MVP), and he's AMAZING. Get real!!!

Lacy/ Bama are getting blown out in this last round. Denard and Swopes are ahead by 20k votes. They cleared all previous votes for this round.
