If you go back to the OP, you will see why there were a lot of no shows. He made a last minute change of venue and made some other demands and it pissed folks off.
Read the NFL's response and you can see they went out of their way to do what they could for him yet it was still not enough. He changed the waiver and didn't send it over until very late and then decided he wanted all kinds of other changes at the last minute. Then he just didn't show up and decided to go somewhere else and have his own workout for the media. This is all him trying to sell some more BS. He doesn't want to get back into the NFL as much as he wants to be famous. Dude was benched before any of this went down because he wasn't doing the job.

Or keeping their relationship with Nike? I don't know. The thought has crossed my mind that there may have been the idea "give him enough rope and he'll hang himself."
The one impression I've reached is this past weekend flies in the face of "I just wanna play."
Originally the workout was going to be held at the Falcons facility. Kaepernicked moved it at the last minute to a high school over an hour south of the Falcons facility. I bet many of those that were committed said "screw it" and went home.

If he really wanted to play in the NFL, he wouldn't have a lot of demand. He had his own receivers and film crews. He move the try out south of the Falcon place?
