NCAA clearance of grades and ACT results to be eligible to play CFB is separate from qualifying to enroll at Alabama. Reportedly the NCAA didn't approve his ACT.

Saw this on the rant regarding Calloway...it appears it wasn't a grade issue but he wanted to play this year and that might not be possible with the players ahead of him

I don’t buy it. Why wouldn’t he go to UCF, Tulsa or some other G5 school to play?

As I understand the new rule.....you have until July 1st to get into the portal in order to be ABLE to play this fall for another school. I will assume he can transfer now but he will be on the bench for a year as in the past.

Bama has a problem keeping some of these Zip guys happy in TitleTown. Nick keeps signing them anyway.
