⛳ Justin Thomas's tuff putting round on Sunday cost him a win

No. I'm not late to the party on this story. Quite familiar with it actually.

The question I posed was in reference to the overly-dramatic posture of, "3 times he tried to justify why multimillionaires could care less about the little people, like your caddie."

What can I say, I'm just a descriptive kind of guy. I also used such adjectives as a slumlord, tone deafness, greedy, stiff, stingy and of course little people.

Nah, I was just in a frisky mood this morning and wanted to mess with you a little. No ill intended.

The Patrick Reed comment was a little more about not giving in to all the social media warriors out there that seem to think they know more than those involved. I just don't think he would have cared what folks thought and would not have given in like Kuchar did. I know I wouldn't have after making a deal. Of course I am a giving person, so I probably would have given him $10,000 or $15,000 out of sheer happiness of winning, so there is that too.

Had Kuchar given this guy $50,000 to start with he would have been lauded among his peers and that's still 38% of the going rate. Low balling with 1.3 mil in your pocket it's going to be hard to control the narrative. And that's what he lost, the ability to put his spin on it and still come off as the people's choice. And no matter how he attempted his futile explanations, it was mostly like pouring gasoline on a fire.

Please don't tell me you honestly think Kuchar gets to keep all of that $1.3M. You do understand there are major expenses that these guys have to pay?

And he freaking paid the guy what they agreed upon. Clearly you're not a business owner, and if you are, do you just randomly pay your employees more than their salary or hourly rate? And before you bring up bonus structure, the guy made an extra $1,000 because of the win that they also discussed beforehand. Your opinion and half the other talking heads against Kuchar doesn't matter. Your opinion, like mine, truly mean zero here. When you look at the exact specifics, no one was wrong other than the caddie that got greedy and wanted more. Nothing else to explain or discuss, period. To be honest, it's a socialist point of view because the caddie saw dollar signs and thought he deserved more of that. He hit zero shots, gave minimal instruction, and was rewarded twenty five times his normal pay. Once again, greed is the root of all evil, and the caddie wanted more than he agreed upon, so it starts there.

Another question, if Kuchar doesn't make the cut, is it ok to pay the guy less than they discussed because the tournament wasn't in their favor, or was $4,000 for two days of work satisfactory?
