I received an email informing me that I would NOT be receiving BCS National Championship Tickets. The criteria appears to be only those with more than 501 points will be getting tickets this time around.

We regret to inform you that your request for 2013 BCS National Championship tickets could not be fulfilled at this time due to demand exceeding supply.


As stated on your application, no requests were guaranteed, and would be fulfilled based on Tide Totals priority points.


The University of Alabama Athletics TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Office was not able to fulfill those requests of TIDE PRIDE season ticket holders who have 0-501 Tide Totals priority points.


Unfortunately, your Tide Totals priority points fall between 0-501, so your request was not fulfilled.

This might end up being the first Alabama National Championship game that I have missed in over 40 years! Having said that, it may end up being very costly but I haven't given up yet, :spend:

God luck, brother. I was happy to learn that I'm off the 7th and the 8th, so I'll at least be able to watch the whole game and then celebrate the next day.

I've got a room booked at the JW Marquis the 6-8th but not looking good on tickets. May have to end up selling the rooms. Hopefully can make a pretty penny off a ND fan... Room cost me nothing bet 60,000 points. Still holding out hope I can land some tickets in the next 3 weeks before I list the room though.

I'm thinking the costly method is my only hope as well. I never would have thought about spending $1000+ on a ticket before, never! Now it's a very real possibility.
