Back to this original claim of just six fourth downs during Q1-3 of SEC play. Maybe I’m not clear on it. I checked the drive summaries of Bama’s first five games and they punted a total of nine times during the first three quarters of each of those five games.

I'm guessing at which point he's decided those games were in "garbage time." Is 21-0 in the first half garbage time? I'd think no, but 28-3 in the second half seems pretty close to me.
