🏈 Just got a note: A-day to be televised on ESPN...

Saban:
“This is a great opportunity to showcase the University of Alabama and our football program,” said head coach Nick Saban. “A-Day is a special weekend at Alabama and our fans have responded with two of the largest crowds to ever watch a college football spring game the last two years. That positive energy and enthusiasm by our fans has had a significant impact on our success. I encourage all of our Crimson Tide fans to fill Bryant-Denny Stadium on April 18th and show everyone why we have the best fans in the land. There’s nothing better than coming out of the tunnel to a full stadium, whether that is A-Day or at our home games in the fall.”

2PM.

I think having to prepare a hotel or some such in advance just to see the Spring Game is enough to make us the greatest fanbase in America, in any American sport. ESPN airing it only reaffirms it.

hey terry, you think there is any chance the game will be up on 360 too ?

I can't say for sure, but I certainly would think that the chances are real good that they would.

(FWIW, with ESPN taking over the contract from Raycom for televising games I suspect you and Isra should get a lot more live events this upcoming season than you have in the past.)

If it's not on 360, I'd be real shocked if someone doesn't upload a torrent.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sell those as two night packages.

I'd start checking, last night, if I were you...chances are you might be left with Birmingham (or the Masters) as your only options left already.

Great news indeed!!!! Not only will we possibly put 90,000+ in the stands with many a interested recruit in to see whats going on, but we will be in the homes of millions and even more recruits who can't make the trip can see what BAMA football is like.

The day A-day was announced we made our hotel reservations in Bessemer. The Holiday Inn only had one room left... Hampton only had 7 rooms left ( we took 3 of those 7) so yeah I'd go ahead and reserve a place :)
