One of my favorite all-time reads, the Lindy's Sports magazine. Anyone who's not familiar should DEFINATELY check it out. Their pre-season All-American team includes Julio and Mike Johnson as 2nd team All-Americans on offense, and Rolando and TC as 1st teamers on defense. Also, in their position ratings section, they have Ingram as the # 20 overall RB in the nation, Julio as the #3 WR, Mike Johnson as the #2 OG, TC as the #2 DT, Rolando as the #2 ILB, Tiffin as the #8 kicker, and here's the big one: Arenas as the #7 CB, AND Arenas as the #1 overall All-Purpose player, a position that was battled out by Percy Harvin and Jeremy Maclin just a year ago. In the position UNIT rankings, Bama comes in at #10 in the Recievers category, #4 in the Defensive Line category, #1 in the Linebackers category, and #4 in the defensive backs category. Next they have this section about the decade of 2000-2009, and it has the Coach of the Decade and the All-Decade team. CNS comes in at #7 for coach of the Decade, and Andre Smith is on the 2nd team All-Decade squad. Bama vs. Va Tech is listed as the #2 OOC game, right be behind Ohio State-USC. Bama vs. Ole Miss is the #3 conference game, and LSU-Bama is the #6 conference game.

The more i think on it, the more I realize that on top of an ace returner, Javy has some great skills at cornerback.

He reminds me of Pacman Jones when he was with the Titans, without all the character issues, but Javy is a little more complete as a cornerback.

I keep reading hes a 1st-2nd round pick next year, and I am beginniing to buy it.

Wow... 5 minutes after posting it I noticed BOL just posted the same thing and it included Athlon sports, too.

Oh, and Terry, they have Gerald McCoy, the junior out of Oklahoma who weighs in at a measely 6-4 295, as the #1 DT.... psh.

McCoy is a great DT but he's a 3 technique, while Cody is without a doubt the best true NT this season.

Great stuff though, I'll have to pick that issue up this off-season. Arenas is getting a lot of love this off-season, with a good senior season he could become valuable in the draft.
