I saw a similar set of stats last week and thought the same thing. Considering the injury and a new QB, this should really come as no surprise. He'll do great things before it's all said and done.
FWIW, the leading receivers on our teamāPeek and Ingramāhave 19 receptions on the season. We have four with double digits, two more sitting at nine.
At this rate, we'll have more receptions at the end of the season (regular) than we did through 14 games last year and will also have about 500 more receiving yards.
Side note: Julio ended up closing the year out strong last year with 58.
I'm glad you put up these stats. Julio has had a few drops just like every other receiver in college football and even the pros. He really blew up in the second half of the season last year and I expect that will again be the case thise year.
Amen and here is another stat that often goes unnoticed but the one that really counts. Alabama is 19-0 in regular season games since Julio suited up for his first game.:a:
