šŸˆ Julio's stats through six games (2008 vs 2009)

I saw a similar set of stats last week and thought the same thing. Considering the injury and a new QB, this should really come as no surprise. He'll do great things before it's all said and done.

Great point. But still, one would be hard pressed to find such a hyped Sophmore WR who on has 32 career catches.

Oddly, like Cody with tackle stats, Jones and reception numers just don't paint the true picture of his worth.

FWIW, the leading receivers on our team—Peek and Ingram—have 19 receptions on the season. We have four with double digits, two more sitting at nine.

At this rate, we'll have more receptions at the end of the season (regular) than we did through 14 games last year and will also have about 500 more receiving yards.

Side note: Julio ended up closing the year out strong last year with 58.

It's been mentioned before, but his blocking can be demoralizing for a DB. His block on Ingram's TD run last weekend was a big part of that play.

I'm glad you put up these stats. Julio has had a few drops just like every other receiver in college football and even the pros. He really blew up in the second half of the season last year and I expect that will again be the case thise year.
