I was listening to Chris Mortenson yesterday on ESPN (gasp) and he seemed to think JP would be drafted as a backup.

Oh well, either way I hope the kid gets a shot.

I said it earlier during practice week that somehow, JPW would get drafted on the second day and be in the league for around 8-10 years. People can bash him all they want but he's got guts, he's smart, and he's a competitor. He'll latch on somewhere.

i could see a team with a stable QB right now going after him in the later rounds (6 or 7) like Philadelphia (McNabb), New York (Manning), Indy (Manning), Pittsburgh (Rothlisberger), etc. or maybe even a team like Tennessee who has a stable vet for the time being and a unstable young guy that might not pan out. just how i see it.

Caldwell will prolly go in the 2nd round and Rashad will most likely go in the 2nd (maybe late 1st if he has a very strong combine). Everybody talks about his size and imo thats the only reason he want be a top pick because I think he's a future star in the NFL. He is just so gifted and unbelievable intelligent on the field (and off). McCall and Walker will prolly be 2nd day or Free Agents but both could turn out to be solid NFL TE's. Walker more of the pass catcher but a good blocker too and McCall like having an extra Tackle on the field.
