If you missed yesterday, you missed a three ring circus with three different acts.

Charles Goldberg: Auburn has interviewed Charlie Strong.

A little later Jay Tate: Auburn hasn't interviewed him in person, but discussed the job on the phone.

A little later from Phillip Marshall: No representative from Auburn has contacted Strong, but outside agencies may have talked to him about interest in the job.

Charlie Strong: I have not talked to anyone with Auburn about the job. I have a job.

Marshall again: No one has interviewed Strong in the true sense of the word.

I predict a few more years of turmoil down there before they start to get their act together. This hire will last at best 4 years maybe less and will finally clearly show the need to change the AD. The AD hire is going to be key to straightening out da barn.
