Isn't already in the works for a SEC vs Big12 game to open the season every year in Houston?

I have my doubts it's the Cowboys Classic unless Stoops has had a change of heart. When OU lost to BYU in 2009—in Arlington—I remembers Stoops saying he didn't want do have an opener like that again.

Plus, if it was something in Dallas, why would they be meeting in Tuscaloosa?

I don't know what it is. I may find out more later today. The person I heard from was going to be meeting with Moore some more this afternoon.

I also wondered if it could be something as innocent as Castiglione taking a peek at the new weight room and the plans revolving around how we are going to use the facility. Keeping up with the Jones, ya know?

All I've heard about something akin to that is Miss. St. meeting Okie State to open the 2013 season. I've seen no mention of it being an annual occurrence, though it easily could turn into one I suppose.

Hell, if you think about it the games in ATL to open the season was a one night event which has now turned into a three day weekend.

Unless one of those teams are planning on backing out, it wouldn't make sense for a home and home.
