šŸˆ Joe Biden claims that he gave up a starting spot on the University of Delaware football team 🤣

I kinda peg him as more of a moderate - pisses off the left & the right.
I'll give credit for 1 thing. Before Starlink, my internet speeds were 1-2 Mbps at best (and I had NO other options). Now I have 80-200 Mbps consistently!
He has mucho credit in my book.
I love Starlink. I live 45 miles from a town, city, or any other kind of civilization and my internet speeds are wicked fast.

You do know that 90% of everything in newsprint (magazines/newspaper/online) and on TV are owned by 6 media companies You don't have to read all of the article, but scroll down and look. In 1983. 90% of everything media was owned by more than 50 companies. How hard is it to control the narrative when you disseminate your vitriol from a few sources and it can permeate the way you like it to.

Notice on the video all stations including FOX. say the exact same thing verbatim. My biggest issue is the asshats talking about how this is extremely dangerous to our democracy. WE ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY. We are a constitutional federalist republic.

Absolutely and amen! And too many people are uninformed about the difference between and federal government and a national government. It is a federal government, NOT national.

Some of the mainstream media would’ve, but Fox News wouldn’t have, I think it’s funny how people say mainstream media cover this democrat and that democrat, but don’t think that happens with republicans on Fox News.

As for covering Biden’s ass at every turn, to a degree yes, but again same thing happened with the previous President and Fox News and it still happens. This ā€œcoveringā€ has been going on for a long long time, hell it happened when George HW was President and Clinton

I've always found "laying blame at the feet of a news organization" amusing—sadly, in a lot of cases, it's the truth.

California's Governor laying blame on Jessie Waters (Fox News Channel) for Paul Pelosi's attack was especially rich. I choose to lay the blame on Elon.

Without Starlink, how would his attacker been able to stream Fox News in his school bus? šŸ™ƒ

The US is also not a democracy. It is a republic. As in, ā€œI pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands . . .ā€

In a republic, a constitution or charter of rights protects certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by the government, even if it has been elected by a majority of voters. In a "pure democracy," the majority is not restrained in this way and can impose its will on the minority.

[ fife is playing a patriotic tune as I step up on a soap box ]

...thus the outright hatred of our Constitution by certain elements. The Constitution has always been an inconvenient piece of paper....a nuisance for those who hate the fact that you're free. These same people would rule every aspect of your life with an iron fist if given the opportunity. Don't pay attention to the 'D' or the 'R' next to their name. Pay attention instead to those who want to take away your Constitutional rights.

Wanna lay blame on news outlet...
The networks ...ABC...NBC...CBS and there attack on Hershacl Walker is unbelievable...the time the gave the woman claiming HW took herfor abortion...
On national news....prime time... and NBC ...
And the governor race in midwest...gave obama 4-5 minutes attacking republican candidate...
In stead of reporting news....they are mouth piece for liberal candidates

I love the concept of how Starlink allows people to live wherever they heck they want and still have high speed access. Good to hear it works well.

I cut the cord years ago and only get basic internet from Comcast. Still that $50 basic service is up to 400 mbps for up to 1.3 TB per month. It's really more than I need.

The end user experience of Starlink - given the speed and the inherent latency of satellite technology - is something that I'm curious about. When you say "wicked fast" - could you translate that to a number? Mbps maybe?

Last night my speeds were-
Download: 208.63 mbps
Upload: 16.08 mbps

The big thing for low-earth orbit satellite is first hop latency. Starlink averages around 30-40 ms in the US right now where most cable runs more like 10-20 ms. Regular satellite internet (Dish for example) runs more like 600-1000 ms. That really is huge on the speed and responsiveness front. It's actually possible to game or make VOIP calls on Starlink and it not be much worse than wired.
