Not sure if this has been brought up already, but ESPN is reporting that Jimbo Fisher will replace Bobby Bowden when he retires. He signed a contract today. This was pretty much expected, right?
It was assumed until the contract was signed. Word had it that Arkansas was making inquiries into the availability of Fisher. They were smart to lock him down if they really wanted to keep him.
If they end up with Grobe, they will have done well. I'll be interested in seeing how well he recruits there, but the dude can flat out coach. He'd coach circles around T. Bowden or Jimbo Fisher, that's for sure.
