Campbell had a really good game against Kentucky Saturday. He does a good job of reading the play and playing sideline to sideline. Plays the run inside out, takes him to the sideline and finishes it off with a good tackle. He's slowly gotten better and better as the season has progressed, took the starting job from Marshall(who was playing well), and hasn't looked back. He's got elite closing speed and play sideline to sideline, as he showed in this clip. He's gotten better playing the run in between the tackles, and stacking and shedding blockers. He's turning himself into a complete linebacker, and I'm excited to see him progress even more.

Campbell, Robinson, and Blackshire can all come back next year, correct?

Robinson is draft eligible but I wonder what his value will be at the end of the year? I know he's been banged up.

LB play has been awesome all year. Lots of guys making great plays. Those guys along with Downs, Oatis, and Keenan have been huge bright spots... And I think they all have more years if they don't declare.

I like what you have done, highlight a defensive player and talk about their strengths and what they can do. You do that each week. I love it. Would be nice if you did one for safeties and DT players.

Thank you. And I will at some point, all around, the defense has been really good this year. Tim Keenan is a guy that deserves recognition, he's been really good this year. All around our D-line has stepped it up, they've been playing at an elite level since that Texas loss. Love what Coach Roach has done with this year's group.

You mean Lawson? But yes, they can all come back next year. Campbell is only a sophomore, Lawson has been generating some draft buzz, but I'd expect him back next season, Blackshire has played well when he's in the game.... he's just behind 3 really good players. Wouldn't be shocked if Blackshire enters the portal after the season ends.

Just checked the media guide. Q Robinson (as well as Malachi Moore) are seniors, but they can conceivably come back because of the extra "covid year". I believe this also pertains to Tim Smith, Seth McLaughin, and a couple of others.
