Auburn just released this statement:

Gus Malzahn statement regarding John Franklin III

“John Franklin came to me expressing his desire for the chance to play more and get closer to home. He has made the decision to play elsewhere this season as a graduate transfer. John has been an outstanding young man during his time here and leaves Auburn with a degree. We wish John nothing but the best and thank him for his time at Auburn.”

Lord knows, anything is def. possible with that kid. How many players cant even beat out a walk-on JUCO QB and then STILL be able to get a scholarship with an SEC school? I wouldnt put anything past him lol

Wow, FAU? That's where De'Andre Jordan (also a FSU transfer) went. So, two of the three heavily featured Last Chance U QBs are going to be on the same roster... with Lane Kiffin... what a threesome. Jordan is five times the QB that Franklin is, dont see him even being in the top 2. So, whats he gonna do? Play WR? That's the only chance he has at the NFL, IMO but he was doing that at Auburn and had a chance to crack the rotation considering how weak they are there. I got a feeling hes got someone in his ear giving him very bad advice.

Does it really matter? FAU isn't going to be very good and JF3 has a lot of learning to do before he gets on the field.
