🏈 Jerrell Harris to Transfer?

I was lurking on Tigerdroppings and it seems that there is a rumor that Jerrell Harris may transfer. Some of the Bama people over there seem to be aware of this rumor as well. Anybody here have any insight?

For various reasons it would not be a shock if he did. A lot of ability, but it just hasn't clicked for him at Alabama.

I hope not. I would imagine that his PT would increase exponentially next year. If McLain takes off to the NFL (I think he will) then that leaves Hightower to take over McLains role. I'm sure Nico Johnson would be in the fight along with the plethora of other LB's that we have, but Harris is one that appears to be a head hunter.

I want to say that there has been some hint of this really since Summer. Terry knows a little more than I, but I think there has been some hint for a while. Ashame if he leaves but sometimes it's best to part ways if there are some issues. We all have roles and maybe he doesn't want to be a role player or maybe it's scheme, or problem over potential playing time.

If this is true, it means he's probably relegated to being a special teams headhunter and bit role player. The ground he lost to Nico during his suspension probably didn't help, either.

I think this all started because of Saban's comments about "some not buying in" after the SEC championship game. I'm not saying it's not going to happen, but I'm hearing the opposite.

I would say it is purely a speculative rumor. If he did leak it out, he's a complete idiot because he is on a potential BCS winning team and NFL people look at these teams a little more. If wants to leave, he's probably not much of a team player anyway.
