🏈 Jerrel Harris Suspended?

Rumor going around that he supposedly recieved a laptop as a gift and his facing suspension. Any legs to this? I know you guys are pretty reliable and in the know so I figured I could get this settled pretty quick here. Thanks.

False, the guys here "in the know" have said repeatedly they'll play. Until they tell me something that doesn't come out to be true, I'll believe them.

A friend of a friend told me a week ago that Julio and Mark would not be suspended for the first game because of the fishing incident but Jerrell would. I put no stock in that information because Jerrell had no ties to the fishing thing from anything I had heard. Your post makes more sense to the information I heard last week now. I'm with Elba here. I'm not concerned with Julio and Ingram.

Jerrell is a different story. I'm not going to say for sure that he received a "gift", but it does appear that rumors regarding his suspension may very well have legs. I'm sure we'll hear more about this in the next 48 hours.

I'll only say that Julio and Mark would not play if there was a chance we'd have to forfeit the games. That's not the case.

As TerryP stated in a different thread, those guys are playing. Don't worry about that situation.

Something has been up with Jerrell.

His eligibility is on edge...not sure which side he falls on at this point.

Everybody needs to relax.

Julio and Mark will play...if Terry and the guys post it believe it.

The flu has just about run it's course...everybody is recovering and will have ample time to be 100% for VT...Reamer was the only starter or significant backup out yesterday and the word was he and the other guys are improving.

If JH is suspended, he's not irreplaceable. We have a few other LB's who could take his spot and we never miss a lick.

Upshaw is a young kid who did not handle a tough spot as he should have. He's not a problem and is a good kid.

BD is out, but it's not like we don't have 10 - 12 D-Lineman who could start or play a ton at any other SEC school, yes including FL.

There now everyone take a deep breath and move on.

Me neither, wonder how much football they are thinking about with all these distractions. Hope they stay more focused than they did at the Sugar Bowl. Also, after watching the player interviews yesterday I got a feeling of cockiness rather than the process oriented things I heard last year. Hopefully, I just have preseason jitters but I am concerned about this group gelling to achieve as a team. Maybe these external things will pull them together or maybe they are already there. I'm ready for Saturday.:a:
