Yep he grew up not far from where I grew up in Jackson County. Started out college at the Junior college there in Rainsville where I met my wife.

Shame that Pruitt will have fallen so far from the elite level he had gotten in the College football world but if you go get that Vile orange stench on you it can't be undone. Bad juju putting a bama boy around all of that hideous orange.

I remember a trip to Rainsville back in '95, (just a couple of years after JP graduated), to watch a playoff game against Plainview H.S....If I remember right, I believe his dad was still the head coach there.

I think he may be not sure. I know we used to take them to the woodshed when I played waaaaaay back in the late 70's and early 80's. I am sure this was before Pruitt.
