šŸ“” Jemele Hill out of ESPN's Sportscenter (moving to The Undisputed.)

if i ran a company like espn where the basis of the entire thing was predicated on sports, i'd have it written into EVERYONE'S contract that if you start talking about politics or try to bring politics into your show or your message in any way, shape, or form....you're gone. PERIOD!

espn is (or at least they started out as) a sports entertainment tv station. they do sports. leave all that political bullshit to cnn, msnbc, fox, and all the other non-sports stations.

not that i do, but i wouldn't watch sports center to hear them talk about their politics or why they're for or against the President, or players kneeling, or what they think people should do due to someone's political affiliations. and, not that i watch them, i wouldn't watch cnn, msnbc, or fox for their take on sports.

espn used to be good. but when they sold out to the house of mouse, they lost so my credibility and i stopped watching.

i stopped watching
As a result you're missing out on some things--if it's truly a "ESPN free zone" outside of games. It's a bit unfortunate in that you'll have to be awake and watching ESPN in the early AM hours. As soon as they jump "live" in the mornings the quality drops: that's six, my time.

The late night west coast viewer lucks up now-a-day.

Have a hard time watching news shows and sport shows...
Would rather get the info available through print...and i can read, sort, delete, etc
as I see fit.... and so many "experts" that know everything....
131$ a month for TV...and cant stand to watch....how do you figure....(cause others DO like to watch).....
How many days to Bama football???????

it is. aside from BAMA games they may show, i don't watch the channel.

I'm 32 years old. When I was a kid, ESPN was the only option available to me that I wanted to watch unless there was a game on another station. I only wanted to watch sports. First thing i did in the morning, I turned on Sports Center and watched it religiously. Now it's kind of a nessecary evil that I must endure from time to time in order to view games I want to see or an occasional 30For 30.

Factoid........Alabama vs Rutgers was the 1st football game shown on ESPN....not live but shown a day or two later....

Coach Bryant....."Charlie my boy how much are we making off this deal"
Charlie Thornton..."long pause ....then more of a pause"
Coach Bryant..."Charlie, sure as hell we're not paying them?"

Bud Wilkinson and Jim Simpson did the call....seems like yesterday....I believe it was 81...Bama won in a close game
