šŸˆ Jawja's JT Daniels Has Covid

Was told by a buddy somewhat close to the program he's a big sissy and that's why he hasn't played. It's kind of funny this has happened to him as it's just another chapter in what I would call a disasterous tenure in Athens for the guy. Almost just seems like another way for him to not have to play.

This means that there’s a high risk that Bennett has been exposed. The later that he tests positive, the less likely he can play vs Michigan.
This should be Kirby's greatest concern at this point. Bennett testing negative for now with a positive test 2-3 days before their game and Daniels not being prepared due to time missed.

Exactly. Doc what are you seeing as the gestation on "The Rona". I'm a NP and work part-time at a couple doc-in the box around B'ham. What I have seen it appears to be about a 48 hour period. I tested so many folks (on the day of exposure) only to have them come back 2-3 days later symptomatic and positive. If this is the case with UGA, it could get ugally from the fall out.

Won't happen. The NCAA doesn't name the champions at this level anyway, they just list teams that the major selectors name champions. Were the season to end right now Bama is #1 in all three and would be the champion.
It would be a split right now with Michigan and Georgia according to their (NCAA) records. Michigan is #1 in about half of the computer polls the NCAA recognizes.

Many years are splits in that regard and I don't really consider them (nor do the teams themselves usually except UCF). Colley has selected differently multiple times since just 2010 (2011 Oklahoma , 2012 Notre Dame, 2016 Alabama, 2017 UCF).

@rocknthefreeworld that's changing the context of "if the season ended today."

I don't know if Michigan would claim a title this season with about half of the computer polls (recognized) slating them at #1. Would UGA with one computer poll? I doubt it, who can say?

Maybe, but at the same time it is proof that even when there was something the vast majority recognize as THE Championship Game there were still computer polls recognized by the NCAA doing their thing. I think most of us would take AP/Coaches/Playoff rank over any of those at this point.
