Have I stated how much I hate the Portal. These guys need to face challenges and go to work instead of running away from competition. No idea what the circmstances are in this case just speaking in general.

This is the new way of things. Teams are going to have to recruit the portal in order to field a winning team. When you lose a player like Cohen you have to go out to the portal and find a player with experience. You don't replace a player like that with a zero experience freshman or sophomore. So high school recruits are about to get a rude awakening to the realities of free agency in college football. There are going to be a lot fewer scholarships available to high school kids for the foreseeable future.
