🏈 Jalen appreciation thread

I think Tua was the spark we needed, but I definitely want to see Jalen stick around and still compete for the job. Jalen got us here, Tua only played mop up duty until last night. No doubt he's going to be great, but we can't kick Jalen to the curb because he didn't play well against a pretty good D

Do ya'll think Daboll was handcuffed by Jalen and couldn't really run his offense? Just seemed to open up when Tua came in!

Are you kidding? Did you see the difference in pass progression?

Look at all the WR's who caught passes yesterday... And I believe Jalen had 3 completions at half

-Ruggs
-Jeudy
-Smith
-Sims
-Ridley
-Hentges
-Harris
-Scarbrough

Cut that list in half, at best with Jalen.

Nick Saban has proven year after year he will stick with the older players even though more talented players seem to be inline for more playing time. Cam Sims,Tony Brown,Bo Scarbrough, and Hootie Jones come to mind. Nick and staff have spent two years trying to make a passer out of Jalen and they still can't get it done.

Anyways... I will always be appreciative of the kind of man he is and has become and will undoubtedly be. Most guys playing sports would have bitched and moaned about being benched after going 25-2 and being THE Man at THE School for two whole seasons. He stepped up big time and helped coach and talk to Tua when he was thrust into the fire. He may not be a professional football player one day, but I think he clearly takes after his dad and will be a hell of a coach with the lessons he has learned, his abilities, and that calm demeanor. He still has a place on this team for goodness sakes, and I'm appreciative we get to call him one of ours. Rarely do you get the opportunity or have the desire to say that this day in age. Roll Tide.

The Jalen crowd has a agenda. He is a solid citizen but he is average at best as a QB.

Saw this about the backup QB for the Dawgs....headed to Washington ...so they say

Report: Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason expected to transfer to Washington

"The Jalen crowd"? "A[n] agenda"? What does that mean, exactly?

I would think that everyone was supporting our starting QB. Didn't think there was a divide, just a few folks who called for Tua Time all season.

Taking him out in favor of Tua was a business decision but I still respect hell out of the guy. Don't see how supporting the starting QB is an "agenda".
