🏈 Jake Coker - Starting QB

If we do, there's a good chance you'll see a pick 6 with his trebuchet delivery. The defensive player will have the time to read and jump that play consistently.

And if not in the first game or 2 then later. D-coordinators will obviously pick up on those type tells and have their D backs primed for it. Again I hope he has cleaned all of that up but I will have to see it consistently fixed to believe it.

If Coker is named starter for Saturday night it tells me one of two things. That Coker had a "Blake Sims 11th hour" moment and the light came on or all the reports coming out of Tuscaloosa about how bad Coker was and how he'd slipped to third on the depth chart wasn't true.

What is most telling to me is that so many folks swore that CLK was all in on BB but he isn't in the 3 QB grouping.

I never thought he would start but if told there would be 3 I would expect him to be in the group if Kiffin was so sold on him

I would love to be a fly on the wall watching Jimbo field the answer to that question, LOL. Even if he would love to have Coker back on campus now, no way he can say so.

He went from Heisman QB to starting an ND cast off but none of the mainstream media is hammering his ass for "struggling to develop QBs".

His Heisman winner ran roughshod over the rules along with other players but an idiot on the radio today had the terminity to say "Fischer will coach Gholson harder and hold him to standards that Kelly didn't".

Why he will be held to the same high standards that Jimbo applied to his last QB. :sarcasm:
