Lunardi now has us back in Greensboro facing Gonzaga to start with a win giving us UNC.

I don't put a lot of faith in who we'll play in the first round on these "bracketology" guys. They are normally pretty good on seeding.

He also has Miss St. as one of the first four out now. I've been wondering about that.

I think Miss State has reservations for NIT just cause of the "slump" they have been on. As for Bama, it really doesn't matter what bracket they're put in I don't see them getting past the second round baring any "Cinderalla Madness". Which is just deceiving, this team at the beginning looked to be at least a Sweet 16 team, hopefully next year will bring promise and by promise I mean consistent play, no dumb fouls(thought many were questionable by the Reffs), and PERIMETER SHOOTING.

raider, this is my opinion.

I don't think MSU found themselves in a slump. I think Stansbury simply didn't have his mind in the game this season. They got by on talent, but coaching wasn't a factor.

I've said, and do wonder, if he mailed in this season.

(Damn, UNC in Greensboro)

He's a lot like Tubs in my eyes. A lot of Tubs concentration in his last season was spent on the difficulties he had with his wife's dalliances. The same thing is going on with Stansbury. Did that have an effect?

Lunardi's official line was that an upset in a mid major conference final Sunday knocked the bullies out. Others had them out much sooner. Notice that they are a #4 seed in the NIT. It wouldn't shock me at all if they are one and done there.

I watched a good bit of their loss to Ga in the SEC Tourney. Dee Bost is a terrific competitor. You could see the frustration in his facial expressions as they tanked in the second half of that game.
