Awesome hires. Have always really like O’Brien and respected the job he did at PSU. Nobody wanted that job and recruiting there when he took it was next to impossible. He pulled that program out of the gutter and the Texans weren’t much better before he got there.

The addition of him and Maronne are fantastic. I believe they have a lot to sell recruits and have a ton of experience to share.

You know it is bad when a person would rather be a coordinator than take the head coaching job. I do not blame him but it underscores how good things are in T-Town and how bad things are in Vileville.

And he knows within 12-24 months, he is likely right back on the NFL interview train if he wishes. I can already see him and Marrone being a package deal (like Sark and Flood) to a floundering franchise 2 years from now.
