Thank God. I can't wait to see how much my work productivity skyrockets once this game is finally over!

Go Utes!!

Or, how many sick days it takes to get back into the work frame of mind? :D

I'm not sure that will ever fully happen.

Coach Whit noted the other day that there has been a longer gap between our last game and this one (Nov 22 to Jan 2) than there was between the start of fall camp and our opener (August 4 to September 1). Stupid non-championship-game conference...grumble, grumble. It makes me more than a little nervous about the rust factor coming into play.

Don't worry about the rust, we'll knock it off of them for ya! Good...but for our sake not so good luck to you guys.

Interesting point there...

One of the things I noticed when I was doing research on the previews is game prep. I almost spent some time comparing the two coaches, but didn't have time to put it all together.

Our prep for this game mirrored what we do all year. In fact, it's too the point Utah wasn't something that really entered our practices and preparation early on...it was all about fundamental work, much like spring ball.

On the other hand, I noticed a lot of the Utah players talking about watching film very early on.

Will it have bearing on a game? At some point, there can be too much preparation...
