| CURRENT EVENTS It's been one week since the Colorado courts said, "Trump can be on the ballot."

I haven't looked into the story that deeply. I've read headlines and a few blurbs from two dozen or so outlets.

Is there a word in the macabre genre for amused?

Seven judges. Four from schools like Yale, UVA, Penn, and Harvard who just so happened to say, "ban him."

Three, who said, "no?" All three went to law school in Denver.

One of the first things I looked at was which member of SCOTUS has as their responsibility to oversee rulings in CO. That's a doozy.

Beyond the initial snickering (left) and objections (right), most (both left and right) say the position is unsupportable and will be overturned. The kneejerk MAGAs want to exclude Biden in a tit-for-tat, which is equally unsupportable. As one of what is becoming a more select group of unindicted actions, Trump's 1/6 rants do not reconcile with the law's intent, which is to keep outright Civil War combatants from holding office. I'm not defending Trump. He's still a piece of sh!t.
