We really needed this one. Good win for the team and they finally closed out a game. I'd like to see Hines get more minutes. It's also great to see this team be visibly better on defense than the past few years. I've got a lot of faith in Grant to right this thing.

A lot of "so called" experts predicted this one saying MSU had been squeeking out close wins at home but would come up short on the road. Looks like they were right.

We really contested 3s all game long. That was a big factor considering MSU was first in the conference in 3-point percentage. This will be huge if we can do the same to the barn come Saturday because they live or die by the three. MSU did not play to our weakness and it cost them. I could definitely see us being 4-3 in the conference after next Saturday.
