An all SEC national title game.... Tide and the Gators? Okay.. they may end up meeting in an SEC playoff, but.... the way both are playing and if they continue to do so... this isn't anywhere as remote a possibility as last years BCS.

A loss to UGA would keep UF out of ATL and could leave them as a one loss SEC team to end the season.

They would need a great deal of help. One of the biggest hindrances would be how they close out their season. A loss to UGA would mean they'd only have one team that could bolster their resume—FSU at the end of the season. The other three teams they play isn't going to help them in the computer polls at all.

It's possible though...

Florida will beat Georgia and Florida State. I think they're the real deal this year. Still a lot of ?'s in certain areas, though.

It's the BCS. A lot of weird stuff happens. If the AVG is close enough and far enough away from Oregon/the rest, and we're both undefeated? No one else is? We both play a very, very, close game? Don't count it out.

I'm with crazy, can't take anything for granted..

Also, I don't think the BCS or AP(especially) will vote in a one loss Florida for the BCSNCG, after they just came off of a loss to the team in the SECCG, over a one loss Oregon, who probably won their conference title, or Kansas State, who will win their conference....and you can never count out Notre Dame :swear:

A few notes here...

A loss to UGA, with the 'Dawgs in the SECCG, would be the scenario to put UF in the BCSNC. If the coaches and members of the Harris poll believe they are the 2nd best team in the nation they'll get that slot.

The AP has nothing to do with this conversation. The only thing they'll have any effect on would be public opinion based on things they've written.

Oregon, Kansas State, and Notre Dame's positions will likely be answered in the next two weeks. ND with OU, KSU with TTU, and Oregon next week with USC. (not setting aside Oregon State but I don't see that as a likely loss for the Ducks.)
