Rewinding Nick Saban's comments on Clemson, fast-pace offenses, his dancing

in his presser he talks about how Bama is sooo set up to feature D. Henry. "Clemson is no different than what we face all the time....spread you out....make space..dual threat QB.....However We are the type of team that is geared toward featuring a great RB and doing things different to play the the strength of the QB."

So....mixed signals?? Sounds like he is saying we are going to rely on Henry like all season. Does this mean they will do what they did against Mich St and pass heavy?"

AHHHH!!!! just wish this game was Sat instead of monday night!

Not sure what we'll do, but I can see Clemson coming out with tempo and quick slants and screens just we did V MSU. Everyone is talking about Watsons running ability which makes me think they'll pass a lot to start the game.

My guess is Clemson will go straight to hyper tempo, putting Watson on the edges and a lot of run/pass plays by Watson. Things that have given us trouble in other losses. All it will take is one vicious hit on Watson to curtail that back. They don't want a "Colt McCoy" situation and in big games like this it definitely can happen.

While up tempo has given us issues in the past, it has had little effect on us this year. Danielson said best in the AU game. He said Bama has learned to sub without much issue and can handle the up-tempo teams pretty well. For the most part he is right. Saban has adapted for the most part. It might give us a little trouble, but even when you look at teams that beat us in the past with it, UF with Tebow, AU with Cam, Manziel with aTm, Knight with OU.......we coulda, woulda, shoulda, won those games.

I said all that to say, we are better prepared and more adapt to the HUNH.

HUNH is guaranteed. Everyone is going to have to be sharp and ready to go in as soon as he is called so that we can keep fresh guys in. If the guys will do their jobs, I think we'll be OK.
We must avoid injuries and turnovers on our part. Wrap up on tackles, 2nd man in can go for the strip. Finally, exercise patience and just get it done.

Simple right??? ;)
