šŸˆ Is Les Miles turning into Nick Saban's next victim?

It's been one thing after another for the LSU coach since Jan. 9.

There's no way to sugarcoat this suggestion. The only way to raise the question is to ask it straightaway. Is Nick Saban doing to Les Miles what he did to Urban Meyer?

If there wasn't a precedent for this kind of thing, that would be a stupid question.

If Saban hadn't hastened the downfall and departure of one national championship coach at Florida, it would be foolish to believe that he could push a national championship coach at LSU to the brink or nudge him toward the door.

Miles has been too good for too long to let that happen, right? That's what a lot of people used to think about Meyer. So there is a precedent to consider here, and it's an eerie parallel.

Take away a big-time recruit from the other guy's home state? Check. (Then, Trent Richardson. Now, Landon Collins.)
Beat down the other guy's team in a championship game? Check. (See the 2009 SEC Championship game. Now see the 2012
BCS Championship Game.)

At least Miles hasn't had to check into a hospital.
