🏈 Is Jonah Williams our next Left Tackle?

Where would Alabama be this year if not for freshman RT Jonah Williams on the LOS? As good as advertised and as advanced as a true freshman can be at that position. With all these talented OTs coming in this recruiting class, is it a no-brainer to take a dominating more experienced Williams and move him over to Cam Robinson's LT?

Jonah should have been unanimous All-American this year and he wasn't even consensus.

Wonder if he moves over and they put Leatherwood at Right as a Freshman to get some work and move him over when Jonah leaves? Hate to see the continuous movement out of a recruited position, but the versatility and experience would be amazing for a young guy.

I was surprised he played with Jake Browning. No excuse to not get a good read on the competition.

I know the hope is for the JUCO guy to be ready... But he may not be a shoe in.

Leatherwood could be an option - But IMO Cotton will get a good look at tackle. Also, Lashley could have developed this season. Seems like we have a lot more interrior prospects than tackles, but surely one of those 4 dudes will step up at RT.

With the OL recruiting that's been going on, we could almost sub an entire new OL in the game for a series or two similar to the way we do at times for the DL.

Split back set, Jalen to the right & Tua to the left. Snap to Jalen for throws to right sideline and Tua for left. No problem for middle of field as we all know we don't throw to that area (or to any TEs).

I don't know Jonah personally, but I worked with his dad for several years when I lived in Atlanta. I'm sure the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Dane was an awesome guy.
