He called a great game in the SECCG. Before that game I have not been very impressed with his play calling. I think he does develop QB's well but feel he does not use all of his offensive weapons like they should be used. I could care less either way. He is an above-average OC when all his positives and negatives are rolled together.

How on Earth does he not use all his offensive weapons? I think he's done an outstanding job of taking what's given to him and forming an offense around it.

It could be Coach McElwain doesn't want his first game to be against his current team. I can't blame him either because that job isn't going to get him anywhere except back on the left coast.
