Wow, this is sweet looking.

Condon is wearing this mask tonight.

Eh...Both teams were better in that regard. Bama's captain, however, did receive a ten-minute misconduct at the end of the game. Probably spoke for the team and told him how badly he sucked.

Like last night, Bama played well and completely controlled the game. Shooting though...Wow! :headscratch: Still, Bama won 3-0. Very glad to see the freshman back up keeper get the shutout.

Not so much a close game today. Hahahahah...

Bama owned every bit of this today. The Iron Cup is in its fourth year, and for the fourth year, Bama made a clean sweep of the barn.

This year, is Auburn that bad, or are we that good?

ROLL FROZEN TIDE!!! :td:

Unfortunately this year, it's just the former. Auburn doesn't hustle to pucks; they don't keep their shape/stay in lanes. They never really pressured our keepers, which btw, Coach Quennville played all three, including the 3rd string freshman yesterday. They're horrible. But this Bama/barn, so that made this weekend really good. Barners packed the rink out Friday and Saturday (normal game nights), but not so much yesterday; the majority of them left after the 2nd each game.

Bama has one really good senior defender, one pretty good defender, and one helluva senior goalie. The rest of the team is predominantly underclassmen. They do make a lot of mistakes, but then again, this is D3. If they were that stellar, the boys would be playing at a higher level. They are getting better and better. They are well coached. They create space in their lanes, and their passing is creative and usually timely. They play really well at home, not so much on the road. Overall, they are 13-7-3.

The last two years Bama has gone to nationals. Pretty good for a team in its ninth year! Two years ago, it was...ugly. Last year, Bama won its first game, lost the second game in the last minute, and lost game three. (Coach Quennville was instrumental in getting nationals played here in Pelham next year!)

Here's the rest of their schedule: http://www.hometeamsonline.com/team...hedule&viewseas=2013/2014&gametype=0&s=hockey. The SEC tournament is the following weekend here in Pelham.

These uncrowded hockey games aren't going to last much longer. Great intense entertainment! You can't beat the price you pay to watch the speed, skill and physicality of this level of hockey.

For only $5 a ticket...True dat!!^^

naf, I started going to their games in their first full season in 2006. There were just a handful of us there. Discounting the packed houses the Iron Cup brings, attendance for most home matches now comes in between ...I dunno...500 - 750. Some nights, the attendance is well over 1000. And even after a lot of stuff gets posted on fb, people still comment they didn't know Bama played hockey.
