🏈 Iron Bowl

The first year 1892, Alabama 22 Auburn 32, only 450 people showed up to witness the start of what most likely is considered the most intense interstate rivalry, period. More than 100 years later and a 36-0 thumping the Tide dealt to Auburn, it is the states great divider. Bragging rights for a whole year and a sure argument to happen between the two rivalries until the next meeting.

From "The Kick" to "Punt Bama Punt" there is no game more anticipated from this fans perspective. These three words define my feelings towards Auburn. "I Hate Auburn"! Not the mass murdering type of hate, but the "behind the woodshed whipping" type of hate. I mean, I have family that are Auburn fans, I guess they are family. Now that I think of it they are distant.

With a 11-0 season happening right now, a SEC Championship game against Florida looming. I can't think of any thing else but the Iron Bowl. A team with a loosing record can come in and spoil it for the "better" team. Sorry Auburn not this year.

These two teams are so different, position match ups will show Bama has a huge edge in most every category. Hell, I believe our towel boy can whip theirs. Truthfully, this might be the first time in my whole entire life that I am not worried in the least bit about this game. Even the fact that it is in Auburn doesn't concern me. What concerns me you ask? The score. I want a last year type of score. No moral victory type score for Auburn, but a arse whipping of epic proportions.

Being a fan of Alabama comes with a price, it is the Iron Bowl. I am ready to ante up, pay the piper, kick some tail. Come this Friday Nov. 27 at Jordan-Hare Stadium 1:30 p.m. its time for Auburn to pay the piper, and realize they are still second in this state! Still the second team talked about in this state, and still in our sights to the process of winning a National Championship for the 13th time in Alabama Crimson Tide History.

Ben Tate, you will see who the best running-back in the state is Nov 27th, and it isn't you.

ROLL TIDE RTB!!

Beat Auburn!!

I think the theme for Alabama fans in one word should be "bloodlust". They may think they can get lucky and catch us looking ahead but NO!

DESTROY THEM. Make them regret they arent actually in Georgia. I want the "Crimson" in "Crimson Tide" describing the mixture of blood, sweat, and tears made by the Barn for daring to step on the same playing field as the University of Alabama!

Roll Tide!

(Yeah im pumped)
