I'm sort of on the other end of that in more ways than one.
I do like night games, but I tend to enjoy those afternoon contests where you have the evening to kick back and still savor the victory while watching the rest of the college world play a little football.
I have no disagreement with the fact the Friday afternoon game will have a different feel than the Saturday game. BUT, on the same end, it's not like it is a context versus Miss. St. or something like that. I really believe people will still make it a point to be at the game in full force.
It may be a harsh way to look at it, perhaps a little closed minded as well, when I say take the day off. But, I feel if you can't take a day off work when you want/need it you very well may be in the wrong job. Granted, that doesn't apply to all walks of life, but it does apply to the majority.
Bottom line of my view...I see it as how it impacts the program overall, not just a fans enjoyment of the game.
