As someone who spent two years with the Utah football team as a student equipment manager, I'm aware of all the thankless work and sacrifice it requires behind the scenes of a D-IA football program.

The fact that Ingram took the time to thank an intern, the trainers, and the SID's (among others) speaks very highly of Ingram's awareness, personability, and humility.

This is a special moment for him, his family, his teammates, and Tide Nation.

I couldn't agree more, BamaUte. Nicely stated.

I truly never thought I would live to see a Bama Heisman winner....what a day. I just watched the one on one interview with Mark after the presentation...cant recall the analyst dude that was talking with him....but he had to bring up his dad being "locked up" and yes..thats what he said....damn ESPN.....they usually dish out their fair share of Bama hate but to take a shot like that at a kid on what is possibly one of the biggest days of his life and a huge day for the university is as low as one can go.....my dislike for ESPN has reached a new level.

As for his speech...outstanding....shed a tear myself.
